A little while back Acharya S or (D.M. Murdock) author of the ‘The Christ Conspiracy’ and a consultant to part one of The Zeitgeist movie put out a video responding to all the websites and videos that debunk part one (the religion part) of The Zeitgeist movie.
My friend and I created http://zeitgeistchallenge.com a while back where we offer cash for anyone who can prove the claims zeitgeist makes about the similarities between Jesus and other gods. (no one has answered the challenge yet by the way) we couldn’t believe the stuff that Acharya thought she could get away with in this video, So we thought we would take the time to point out some of the problems.
File comment: The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1
This is a 48-page ebook containing a scientific investigation of some of the facts from Part 1 of the ZEITGEIST movie, dealing with the comparisons of ancient religions and Christianity. Provided by comparative religion scholar - Acharya S
* Who are the Egyptian gods Horus and Set?
* Why does the battle between Horus and Set sound like that of Jesus and Satan?
* Was the baby Horus really born on December 25th, just like Jesus is traditionally supposed to have been? This ebook contains 11 pages of research on this important subject.
* Was Horus's mother truly a virgin called Isis-Mery? A 10-page discussion of the virginal status of Horus's mother, including citations of ancient texts in their original languages, with translations.
"The Companion Guide to Zeitgeist, Part 1, by Acharya S is an absolute must for anyone who wishes to fully understand the significance of the movie." "Well-referenced, with numerous quotations from renowned Egyptologists and classical scholars, Acharya's penetrating research clearly lays out the very ancient pre-Christian basis of modern Christianity. Those who espouse Christianity beware! After digesting the evidence, you will never again view your religion in the same light." - Robert M. Schoch, Ph.D. Division of Natural Science, College of General Studies at Boston University Author, Pyramid Quest, Voyages of the Pyramid Builders and Voices of the Rocks
"This work helps lift the veil of suppression in regard to the truth behind the Christian religion and its Egyptian origins." "Our appreciation should now evolve to the understanding of the mythical developments of the ancient world and their metaphoric foundations; not with the establishment dogma, which exists as a perversion of the original knowledge and poetry." - Peter Joseph Creator, "Zeitgeist, The Movie"

I'm sick of seeing Zietgiest on Google video and having all these people ask me about it.
It's a pointless endevour..in fact I would say is counterproductive. How the hell are you going to make a movie and include 9/11, the Federal Reserve and Jesus stuff? It just contributes to information overload.
Its so broadbased, you cant come out with anything substantive...

Quote:
A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position.[1] To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw man argument" is to describe a position that superficially resembles an opponent's actual view but is easier to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent (for example, deliberately overstating the opponent's position).[1] A straw man argument can be a successful rhetorical technique (that is, it may succeed in persuading people) but it carries little or no real evidential weight, because the opponent's actual argument has not been refuted.[2]
Its name is derived from the practice of using straw men in combat training.[citation needed] In such training, a scarecrow is made in the image of the enemy with the single intent of attacking it[3].[not in citation given] Such a target is, naturally, immobile and does not fight back, and is not as realistic to test skill against compared to a live and armed opponent. It is occasionally called a straw person argument,[4] straw dog fallacy, scarecrow argument, or wooden dummy argument.
