UPDATE - Sean was flown to Bangkok yesterday (10.11.08) and is expected to be hospitalised with spinal injuries for at least another two weeks.

I spoke with Sean this afternoon by telephone from his hospital bed in Bumrungrad hospital - Bangkok - and obviously he is still very down. He told me that in Mae Sot - where he was located in the north of Thailand - he had for some time been under very obvious surveillance by the Thai authorities - and was in fear of his life because of his political activities. He thought that he had been set-up in Thailand.

In this impromptu episode of Visibility 9-11, Michael speaks with Sean Fitzgerald, an active member of Colorado 9/11 Visibility and We Are Change Colorado before he and his family moved to Thailand. Sean and his wife, Allyson, have been working in Mae Sot, Thailand. Allyson, Sean's wife works for the renowned Dr. Cynthia Clinic that provides free care for Burmese refugees, and Sean has been teaching Thai children to prepare them for college. They have a 6 year-old son, Cirian, for whom Sean is a most devoted father.

Sean has been outspoken in Thailand about 9/11 information that contradicts the official story. Lately, he has clearly noticed that he was being followed by people he thinks are Thai military intelligence. This morning as he was riding his bicycle, Sean was chased by at least two suspicious, official looking vehicles and in the process of trying to elude them, was hit head-on by a truck. He thinks that this incident was not accidental.

He is now being treated in the Mae Sot Hospital with a spinal injury. He is rational and thinking clearly. He thinks that at any moment, he could be arrested, as military intelligence personnel have been entering his room, observing him, and then leaving. This happened once during this interview.

You can tell them that Sean Fitzgerald is in danger. Thai military intelligence are threatening him while he is under observation in the Mae Sot Hospital. Ask why a US citizen is being threatened when he has committed no crime whatsoever. Let them know that we see this as a life or death issue and we are watching and want guarantees that Sean will be safe, whatever this takes.

I hope so too. Until this afternoon I'd never spoken to him before. He came across to me as a really polite, decent and thoroughly earnest guy.

From all accounts he's been through a terrible experience.

Sean was my friend for nearly 30 years. In the last few years he has become increasingly paranoid, constantly rambling on about some kind of conspiracy.

Shortly after this interview his father gathered him from Thailand. After he had been home for several days he burst into his sleeping parents' room late at night and fatally stabbed his father.

So you tell me what kind of conspiracy was going on here? Did the Thai police brainwash Sean and make him murder his dad? Or did he imagine the entire thing because he was delusional, paranoid and psychotic? What do you think is more likely?

Get a grip people. Everyone is not out to get you. You are likely insignificant regardless of your political views. Do you really think the government gives one iota about your opinion?

Sean was going the wrong way into highway traffic, not once but twice by his own admission. What do you think would happen here in the US if you did that? Do you think a policeman might want to talk to you? Do you think he might seem "gruff" since you were obviously breaking the law and doing something completely retarded? Oh no of course not, they're out to get me!

I'm guessing the moderator will probably delete this post but I'm writing it anyway, in the hopes one of you delusional paranoids reads it and thinks twice about what is actually happening in the world. I doubt your post will be deleted for sharing the information you posted. However, painting everyone in this community a being "delusional paranoids" is both untrue and unfair. And telling people you don't know to "live their life" is hilarious. Believe it or not we all have lives and live them just fine without you telling us how to live them LOL.

Regarding what Sean did: Every group or society has their share of mentally ill people. Out of the millions who don't believe the government's official conspiracy theory, not a fraction of a percent have ever killed someone. You are obviously trying to associate all of the 9/11 truth community with mentally ill people who commit murder. This would be like me comparing all high school students to every student that's been blamed for a high school shooting incident.
